Highlights

We'll pass by Sapporo sightseeing spots and IZAKAYA(Japanese style restaurant). You'll be able to feel the local atmosphere.
We'll walk around downtown of Sapporo area and along the Sosei River. After we explore local area of Sapporo, we'll go to an IZAKAYA and enjoy the local food and drinks(Sapporo Beer) there aren't in any guidebooks. Walk along the side of the "Sousei River" and you'll feel that this smaller river offers a comforting view. After our stroll, we will pass the Nijo fish Market, a historic fish market established over 100 years ago.


As we will walk around before eat, please wear comfortable shoes and come hungry. If you have allergies or something you can't eat, please tell me beforehand.

    Sapporo Nijo fish market is a public market in central Sapporo that occupies about one city block. Both locals and tourists visit the market to shop for fresh local produce and seafood such as crabs, salmon eggs, sea urchin and various fresh and prepared fish. The market is open from around 7:00 to around 18:00 on all days of the week, with individual shops maintaining their own opening hours and closing days. Several restaurants can be found among the shops, including a collection of small drinking places and restaurants.

    Sapporo TV Tower is a TV and radio broadcasting tower with an observation deck which is located in Sapporo’s Odori Park. The tower was built in 1957 and is 147 meters high. Sapporo TV Tower was designed by the architect Tachu Naito who also designed a number of other famous towers in Japan, including Tokyo Tower, Nagoya TV Tower, and the Tsutenkaku tower in Osaka. The tower in Sapporo also features large digital clocks on four sides of the tower which were installed at a height of 65 meters in 1961.

Odori Park is recognized both regionally and nationally as a site for major events in Sapporo such as the YOSAKOI Soran festival in early summer, the Beer Garden and the Summer Festival in summer, and the Snow Festival and the White Illumination in winter.

Nowadays, the district is almost a kilometer long and boasts over 200 shops lining both sides of the covered shopping area! There is sure to be something for everyone here with restaurants, bars, used clothing shops, souvenir stores, curios, and more.
