The artwork of the Mediterranean area will be displayed for your viewing pleasure during your private transfer from Fez to Chefchaouen. The town of Chefchaouen is located at the base of two mountains that resemble horns; these mountains are Megou and Tisouka.

During the initial wave of Spanish colonial conquest in Northern Morocco, the inhabitants of this area built the city that still bears their name. They constructed it in order to serve as a safe haven for the resistance. Even the town's name, which comes from the Tamazight language, translates to "look at the horns" (Moroccan Native Language). Therefore, the blue-washed walls in the interior of the city are a manifestation of the Mediterranean identity of the locals who live there.

Walking through its winding, labyrinthine alleyways evokes a sense of time travel and transports one to the glorious history of this area, which may be experienced by anybody.
