Highlights

Venture into the bustling city of Bangkok to discover its stunning temples.

Visit the invaluable Golden Buddha, located in Bangkok’s thriving Chinatown district. Wat Trimitr (also called Wat Traimit) is home to the largest known solid gold Buddha image in the world. Standing at 15 feet tall and weighing in at approximately 5.5 tons, this 700-year old statue has an interesting history.

Drive through Chinatown to reach the grounds of Wat Po. This large and extensive temple neighbours the Grand Palace enclave and contains a gigantic gold plated Reclining Buddha with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. One of the worlds’ most famous temples, Wat Pho is regarded as the first centre of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’.

Stop at Wat Benjamaborpitr or the White Marble Temple, one of the finest examples of Thai architecture, noted for its elegant white marble façade. Designed by the foremost Thai architect of the time, Prince Narissaranuwatwong, the temple was constructed with imported Italian marble. Inside the main chapel lies the country’s most captivating Buddha’s image.

Highly recommended! Nina, our tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable. She’s also very sensitive to our needs. I like the fact that she’s on time and well organized. This package is a value for money! You will appreciate Thailand more if you will have this experience. Kindly note that we have a 3 month old baby with us so having a very good tour guide helped so much. Thank you Nina and Pelago! I hope more people will book this tour with you. Value for money!

Very organised. They called my hotel room a day in advance to remind me. Sky was already in the lobby when I get down to the lobby 5 mins earlier. She is very kind and explained the temples and the history to her very best. She took photos for us and tell us which angle to pose at the reclining Buddha place. Even though she seems unsure sometimes or missed one of the popular picturistic place, she will ask. We had a big van for our family of four and driver is patient and drove smooth. It is also convenient to take my seniors around. The timing is good too, not too early at 8.30am. we finished out tour sound 12.30pm.
