As a native Indonesian from the island of Java our cooking classes are a truly authentic experience in which you will not only learn to cook genuine South East Asian dishes from scratch but also learn more about my Indonesian culture as well as receiving a truly warm Asian welcome.
I featured on the BBC James Martin Home Comforts series and am delighted and proud to teach dishes that I have learnt from my mum for you to recreate in your own kitchen. Some may be familiar to you some may not, but I can promise you one thing; all will be show stoppers when you serve them to your friends and family !

Vietnamese food has grown rapidly in popularity over recent years due in particular to the notable health benefits of the region's dishes. Less oily than Chinese, less spicy than Thai food, and not as heavy as Indian food the cuisine has roots in broths, raw food, and gluten and additive-free cooking — The distinct freshness and simplicity of Vietnamese cuisine begs you to explore deeper into the region's delightful dishes. Covering well known dishes from the region including Pho Bo, Vietnamese Summer Rolls and Beef Salad you will learn to prepare and cook each dish from scratch at your own individual work station by following me with step by step instruction. At the end of the class enjoy your own cooked 2 course meal together with the other students or alternatively take your meal home with you to share with family and friends. The class includes the following: - A welcome drink and limitless refreshments during the class - All cooking equipment and ingredients - A 'My Exotic Kitchen' recipe folder and the recipe cards for the dishes prepared in the class
