【Half Day Plan】
Let's enjoy the Sagano Romantic Train and Hozugawa River Boat Ride. This also
includes a Kyoto-style lunch buffet. The tour ends at Arashiyama after lunch,
and you are then free to explore Arashiyama at your leisure.
【Full Day Plan】
For the full day tour, you have free time to explore Arashiyama, which we
recommend Togetsu Bridge, the bamboo forest, and Kimono Forest.After that,
we'll take a bus to Uji for a Uji matcha (powdered green tea) making
experience. Japanese sweets will be provided during this activity and then
visit the World Heritage Site Byodoin Temple in the evening. The tour ends at
Kyoto Station.
- Sagano Romantic Train
The Sagano Romantic Train is a wonderful experience to enjoy the beautiful
fall colors in the gorge.It takes around 25-minutes, 7.3 km train ride lets
enjoy the beautiful views.
- Hozugawakudari River Boat Ride
Experience the beautiful autumn landscape in Hozu River valley, between
Kameoka and Arashiyama. Enjoy gorgeous view of fall foliage.
The boat ride may be canceled due to high water or bad weather. If it's
canceled, we'll give you a refund of 4275 yen and visiting Tenryuji Temple
after Sagano Romantic Train in the morning.

Arashiyama is one of the popular sightseeing spots in Kyoto. The area has
famous places like Togetsu Bridge, the bamboo forest, and Kimono Forest, all
with beautiful fall colors.
- Tea-making Ceremony Experience
You can learn how to make powdered green tea (matcha) in Uji, Kyoto.
- Byodoin Temple
Byodoin Temple is a top Kyoto spot to see autumn leaves. The vibrant fall
leaves surround the pond in front of the temple's National Treasure.
