Budj Bim Cultural Landscape
Kurtonitj (meaning 'crossing place') is in the centre of the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape. Your guide will show you some historical stone kooyang (eel) traps and stone channels, stone house sites, and eel smoking trees.
Budj Bim Seasonal Calendar Installation
There are six seasons of Gunditjmara Country, characterized by the climate and the lifecycles of eels, birds, bees, and reptiles. The seasonal calendar installation features information on each of the seasons and what is happening in and around the landscape at that time.
