Travel from Bangkok to explore the Maeklong Railway Market and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Join a tour group to visit the two iconic local markets. Located on the railway tracks, Maeklong Railway Market is also known as Talad Rom Hup. Learn how the market is run and what products are sold here. Watch as market stalls and awnings pull back from the tracks when the train approaches.
Then, head to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Hop on a paddle boat for a short ride to the market. Meander around the colourful stalls where vendors sell directly from their boats. Take in exotic sights and delicious smells, and try local specialities like mango sticky rice. Your tour guide will introduce you to fantastic buys you shouldn't miss.
Interesting experience for both the train and boat ride! Enjoyed it!
Jon (tour guide) and Tam (driver) are very kind and provide an excellent service. The vehicle is very clean and tidy. Well done and keep up the good work đź‘Ť
Great guide tour and best experience
This was truly a unique experience. We arranged for a hotel pickup, which was prompt and efficient. Our guide, Charlie, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with valuable tips and insights about both the railway market and the floating market during our journey. I highly recommend this experience. While the round trip takes about an hour each way, it's definitely worth the travel time for the memorable adventure.
Great tour guide..the trip was smooth and nice experience.
Enjoyed the trip thoroughly. Very interesting experience to see how the locals manage their way of living. Both the guide and the driver are very professional who took great of us, as well as other tour guests in the group. The guide will always initiate to take photos for us.
Pelago help center (Amelia & Shawn) is very responsive & followed up promptly. The provider driver from Big Country contacted us via email the day before for the hotel pickup. Tour guide Ms Tum Tum is responsible & entertaining. The whole program was smooth and pleasant.
