[Osaka] Go-Kart Experience (90 Minutes)

Notes

To drive a go-kart on public roads you must have a valid driving document for Japan. If you do not have the correct document you will not be able to join the tour.

Please read the following and bring all the required documents.

1. Please bring the following three documents:
・Driver's license from your home country
- International driver's license issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention (must be issued in the country of departure)
·passport

2. If your driver's license is issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia or Monaco:
・Official Japanese translation by a certified agency of your driver's license in your home country (Online application here | JAF)
·passport

3. For U.S. military personnel:
-SOFA license or active military ID and in-state driver's license combination

Important notice regarding driver's licenses: International driver's licenses must be issued by an authorized issuing authority in your country. Common examples are:

Australia – AAA
United States – AAA or AATA
UK – AA or RAC
Canada – CAA

*International driver's licenses issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention are not accepted in Japan.
*If you are unable to present the original international driver's license on the day of the activity, you will not be able to participate and there will be no refund.
*The International Driving Permit (IDP) must be in booklet format, not paper format.
*You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct/valid documentation to drive in Japan. If the documentation is inaccurate we may refuse your participation with no refund. If you are unsure, please contact us directly and we will check if your documentation is valid.

Additional Information

・Please arrive 15 minutes before your reservation time to check in, receive a safety briefing, and a go-kart demonstration. If you are late, we will wait up to 10 minutes from the reservation time. If you are late after that, you may not be able to join the tour. In that case, you can reschedule if there are slots available. If you cannot reschedule, no refunds will be given.
・Please note that drinking alcohol before the tour is prohibited. If you are suspected of being intoxicated, you will not be able to participate in the tour and no refunds will be given.
・Please do not wear long skirts, high heels, or sandals.
・Not wheelchair accessible.
・Infants cannot sit on laps.
There are no baby seats.
・Pregnant women cannot participate.
・Not recommended for people with heart disease.
- If you do not bring your driver's license or international driver's license (or a translation), there will be no refund.
- If your tour is cancelled due to poor weather, you will be eligible for a full refund or have the opportunity to reschedule, subject to availability.
・We may change or cancel your reservation due to company reasons such as problems with the go-kart. If we cancel, we will refund the full amount.

Under Japanese law, the driver's license must have been issued in a country or region that is a signatory to the Geneva Convention and must be in the format prescribed by that convention (※), so customers who do not have such a license cannot use this product.

*Depending on the country or region, even if it is a member of the Geneva Convention, the license may be issued in a format based on the Vienna Convention. In this case, the license does not fall under the "prescribed format" above (you will not be able to drive).

Please note that if you hold a driver's license from Taiwan, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium or Monaco, you will need to attach a Japanese translation prepared by the license issuing agency in that country or region, or by an embassy or consulate in Japan.

Please note that there are also restrictions, such as the validity period being calculated from the date of landing in Japan (the validity period of an international driver's license is one year from the date of issue) or the validity period of the license itself, whichever is shorter.

Driving on public roads without a valid license is punishable by law as unlicensed driving.
