We will leave Cusco around 04:30 a.m. towards the south of the city, on a journey of approximately two hours, until we reach the town of Cusitapa, where we will enjoy a rich breakfast. We will continue our trip one more hour, until Phulawasipata at 4600 m.a.s.l. point where we will begin our walk. During the walk we will be able to see agricultural sites, canyons and snow-capped mountains. The moderate climb takes about an hour and a half, we will be able to appreciate the variety of South American camelids, impressive ecosystems typical of the place and an impressive view of the Apu Ausangate, at approximately 10 a.m. We will arrive at our destination, Vinicunca, Rainbow Mountain or Mountain of Colors at 5200 meters above sea level, where we will have 30 minutes to get the best views of the place. After enjoying Vinicunca we will return to Cusco with the same means of the outward journey, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in Cusipata, and we will arrive in Cusco at 16:30 p.m.
