There is 2 separate tour, one in the morning / afternoon (depending on your option) and another one in the evening (where you get to see the sunset). We started the first tour in the morning with the guide - Marthe. It was a huge group - there was 17 of us and we were given audio to listen to the guide as we walk through the fortress, Alhambra palace and Nasrid palace. It was nice to have the walk to fortress and there was no crowd in the morning. We were able to have the view of Albaicin and Sacromonte from the fortress. We moved along to Alhambra where we are greeted with many other tour groups (it’s pretty crowded since it was a weekend). We took a short 15 mins before we start the visit to Nasrid palace. The guide was able to explain lots of the different history and culture (showing us the design and material used to construct the building). We ended the morning tour after 3 hours. We started the second tour at 5pm - it was a cosy group of 3 people. There are many other free walking tours provided in the area but we chose to do a fee paying one to avoid big groups, especially when we have to go through narrow path at the Albaicin and Secromonte. I forgot the name of my guide… but I recalled I was with another tourist (George, 74 from Brooklyn). The night walk took about 3 hours (I trust that our guide has went beyond to walk us through the different areas - cave house, cathedral, mosque, etc). Though it was 3 hours long, it was super interesting and you get to learn so much from the guide (who usually does the Alhambra guided tour, she does the walk about 2-3 times a month). We stop by many scenic locations to snap photos of the Alhambra.
