What an incredible experience. We couldn’t recommend Mrs Phi’s cooking class more it was a morning very well spent. We did the 4 hour class which involved a trip to the fields and market to collect the food we would be cooking with. This part of the trip was very interesting and both myself (very much a novice) and my mum (regularly enjoys cooking) learnt a lot about different ingredients. You then return to the kitchen where you prepare a variety of food tailored to your dietary requirements/ preferences. We said we were happy to try anything and made spring rolls, a noodle soup, salad and another side dish. You then eat and enjoy the glorious food. We had an amazing experience and stayed far longer than 4 hours by choice. Would definitely do it again if ever back in Hoi An. We enjoyed Mrs Phi’s cooking so much we ate at her restaurant confetti later that day.
Your guide Viet is very friendly and speaks good English. He is helpful to negotiate prices when buying for handmade basket in the Cho Hoi An. Please wear covered shoes as you are expected to ride a bicycle
Even though the package was set at 7AM default timing, you are allowed to change the timing by contacting the actual website. The driver was friendly and the massage was great!
