Itinerary

  • Rapid City

    5 minsAdmission Ticket Free
Start the day with hotel pick up. Our guides will come prepared with your bike rentals and trail passes to begin the day. Depending on your location, the ride to the trailhead is about 1 hour. We offer complimentary hotel pick up within Rapid City, city limits. A destination fee may apply for pick up in other areas of the Black Hills. We supply gravel bike rentals, and e-bikes are available at an additional charge.
  • George S. Mickelson Trail

    3 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
Kick start one of the best day trips in the Black Hills! From the Mickelson trailhead (we typically start north of Hill City), we spend some time preparing each rider on their bike and outlining the day's ride. Our ride is 18mi of the Mickelson Trail, which traverses through the stunning Black Hills countryside. The 18mi ride is all very slightly downhill and very accessible for all fitness levels. We ride the most scenic part of the Mickelson; aspen groves and birch frame the trail with meandering streams flowing along the way. Our guide will leapfrog riders along the trail, meeting you at the end of the ride. (There may be options for longer rides which can be discussed at booking).
  • Prairie Berry Winery

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Free
A quick drive after our ride leads us to local Prairie Berry Winery for lunch and wine tasting. Award winning Prairie Berry offers a taste of South Dakota produce and wine making.
  • Miner Brewing Company

    45 minsAdmission Ticket Free
Our second stop for the afternoon is either Firehouse Smoke Jumper Station, which is a winery/brewery. OR Miner Brewery. Both are in close proximity to Prairie Berry Winery.
