Maddie, the tour operator was excellent. Very responsible, and responsive to our request. There were a couple of hiccups which were beyond her control (driver related) but other than that, our group enjoyed the trip and it was certainly value for money. The 5 stars are for Maddie's effort.

Charlie.Solo Traveller
The itinerary and hotel is good. The lunch and dinner for solo traveller only a plate of rice with vegetables and fried minced meat with soup. Though I am alright with the meals as my expectation is not high, noticed the meals in my group with 3 or more has different menu. I felt this is not good to discriminate solo and group travellers.

It was a 6-hour car ride to Sapa from Hanoi, and the ride was comfortable, with 2-3 stops along the way. Sapa is beautiful, and we appreciate the hospitality of the local tour agency. The tour guide to Cat Cat Village could have managed the time and experience better. There were lots to see as we descended Cat Cat Village, but she sort of rushed us, so it was touch-and-go. We spent a long time at the river, which was not necessary. The next day, when we hiked to the Lao Cai village, the tour guide could have given us a heads up to prepare for the rain and muddy track. The beautiful scenery in Sapa, the village, made up for it. The local villagers who followed from the beginning of the hike ended by pressuring us to buy local handicrafts from them, which I thought was very sneaky.
