Mt. Minoh is a recommended hiking spot which you can feel negative ions from

fall season, the mountain is entirely colored brightly, and many tourists from
Japan and also from overseas tourists gather here every year to enjoy the
Autumn Leaves. Tempura of maple leaves and grilled ayu (sweetfish) are famous
for the local food. You may possibly encounter wild monkeys along the way!

  • Ryuanji Temple

This temple is one of the famous spots for Autumn Leaves in Minoh Park. During
the day time in fall season, you can visit the main hall, Phoenix Tower, and

After sunset, the temple is lit up and visitors can enjoy the fantastic
scenery.


  • Tojin Modori Iwa

This spot is a pair of giant rocks lying across the path near Minoh Falls.
Legend has it that a noble from China once visited Minoh Falls but turned back
due to the steep mountain road. The rocks are believed to have energy and are
well-known as power stones.


  • Hitome Senbon

The observatory is covered with thousands of standing maple trees. The name
"Hitome Senbon" comes from the fact that as if you can see thousands of maple
trees in autumn colors at a glance. Please enjoy the mountains in red and
yellow.


  • Minoh Falls

This spot is a 33-meter waterfall selected as one of Japan's top 100
waterfalls. During the Autumn Leaves season, you can enjoy the beautiful
contrast between the maple leaves and the waterfall. The best angle for
photography is from the red Takimi Bridge. Experience nature while feeling the
