  • Oarai Isosaki Shrine

Your first stop is the Oarai Isosaki Shrine, founded in 856 and dedicated to Okuninushi, a deity of great importance in Japanese history. Oarai Isosaki Shrine is associated with the nearby Kamiiso-no-Torii, a sacred gate where the gods are said to have descended to earth. hence the name 'Kamiiso.'
  • Kamiiso Torii Gate

The iconic Kamiiso Torii gate, standing on the seaside rocks, is a popular attraction. With the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop, this spot is a magnet for photographers, especially during sunrise, sunset, and high tide, offering breathtaking vistas.
  • Nakano Market

Next, we'll head to Nakano Market, which annually draws over a million visitors from all corners of Japan. Situated by the sea, it's the place to savor fresh and affordable seafood caught on the very day. It's about 5.5 kilometers from the beach, making it an easy, leisurely walk if you've already spent time by the shore.
  • Nakaumi Bridge

You'll cross the Nakaumi Bridge connecting two coastal areas, passing numerous shrines along the way, and enjoy a self-paced lunch.
  • Hitachi Seaside Park

Our final destination is Hitachi Seaside Park, located along the Pacific coastline in Ibaraki. This coastal dune area, characterized by gentle undulations, blooms with a variety of flowers throughout the year. In spring, tulips, daffodils, and nemophila paint the landscape.
  • Summer Flower Fields

Summer boasts sunflowers, lavender, and more. In autumn, kochia, cosmos, and asters steal the show. From late April to late May, the park hosts more than 4.5 million baby blue-eyes, creating a breathtaking blue-and-white floral carpet against the backdrop of the sea, sky, and lush landscapes that feel straight out of Avatar's Pandora.
  • Winter Flower Fields

Winter features ice tulips and plum blossoms, and the park is home to seagulls and swans.

Tan.Family (with teens)

My tour guide was Lin, and he is a wonderful person! Communication was very clear with the time to meet after each location. During the trip, he was really friendly and able to hold conversations well, which is a plus point and made the long car journey more enjoyable. Overall really a good experience and I would definitely recommend him for the tour!

Andi is a lovely man and we did see some great things. But the tour is incorrectly named, it is not a tour it is more a driving service. No commentary just drop offs at the various points.
