If there had been a six-star option, we would have given it without hesitation. We are a family of three from Singapore, and Lucas, the owner of the travel agency, was our guide. Pre-tour communication was clear and reassuring. Lucas arranged for a guide to meet us at Milan, and he was already waiting when we arrived in Varenna by train. From there, we visited Varenna, Bellagio, and Menaggio in his clean and comfortable van, boarding and disembarking ferries - a novel experience for us. Throughout the journey, Lucas shared thoughtful insights about Lake Como’s history, geography and daily life. He recommended a wonderful local restaurant and stopped by a local cooperative where we sampled cheese and purchased wine and regional products. He even made a special detour to show us the Cranchi Yacht headquarters after learning about my boating interest. The pace was never rushed; instead, it felt personal, relaxed and genuinely curated. His attention to detail truly stood out when he dropped us off one stop before Varenna so we could secure seats on a busy train on our return journey to Milan - something only a local expert would think of.
