Trekking and Traditional Village Stay
Waerebo is a unique traditional Manggarai ethnic village with traditional houses. It is located at an altitude of 1,125 m above sea level amongst the Nature Conservation forest. There are 7 traditional houses or Mbaru Tembong and each of them houses more than one family. The people live of agricultural products like coffee beans, taro and vegetables. The hike to the village is about 3 to 4 hours passing forests and nature pools.

24 hoursAdmission Ticket IncludedDAY 01 : LABUAN BAJO – DENGE – WAE REBO ( L/D) Start from Labuan Bajo. Drive inland with beautiful panoramic views, villages and rice fields. Lunch at local at local house in Denge. Afternoon start trekking to Wae Rebo. You can enjoy the natural pools before continue trekking. Then uphill to reach Post 2 at Pocoroko a point for panoramic views to the South and Savu sea. It’s the last place where cellular phone connection services are available. The next stop will be at Nampe Bakok – a place where you will have a complete view over the traditional village of Waerebo. Arrive at Waerebo late late afternoon. dinner will be provided at the village. Spend your whole afternoon in the village and surroundings to experience the local way of life. With their round, spider-web structure, these pieces of land are unique eye-catchers in Manggarai. Lunch will be provided en route. Arrive in Labuan Bajo by late afternoon or early of the evening.
