Join us for an intimate morning tour with our Keepers as you get an exclusive glimpse into the lives of the amazing animals of the Savannah. Follow one of our keeper teams on their morning round where you will get to watch a training session, visit behind the scenes areas and more.
After some of the morning duties, you'll head out to set up the Lower Savannah and watch the animals start their day. After leaving the Savannah, head back to base and enjoy morning tea at the bistro or as you explore the trails.
Life on the Savannah can be quite dynamic, so expect the unexpected in this exclusive small-group experience.

Child Policy
Minimum age 5 years.
Participants aged 5 - 12 must have accompanying adult supeevision:- 1 adult per 3 children, 2 adults per 4 children.

Good To Know
Zoos Victoria may choose to cancel specific encounters due to inclement weather, animal welfare or insufficient bookings. Whenever possible, guests will be notified in advanced and dates re-scheduled, or full payment will be refunded.
All passengers aged 1 and over must have a ticket. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Parents or adult guardians must take responsibility for participating children at all times.
The Adult to Child ratio for children aged 8 and under is 1:1. The Adult to Child ratio for children aged 9–15 is 1:2.
Please do not wear strong perfume or aftershave.
Enclosed shoes must be worn for all animal experiences.
Prams and strollers cannot be taken into the off-limits areas.
Weekends, school holidays and public holidays can be a a busy time at the Zoo and parking is limited. Please allow sufficient time for parking and entering the Zoo.
Due to unpredictable animal behaviour, experiences may vary.
All participants must agree to follow the keeper's instructions.
Participants may be asked to leave the enclosure at any time during the encounters at the discretion of Zoo staff.
Photos can only be used for personal purposes. Flashes must not be used when taking photos. Rangers are unable to take photos of participants during the encounter.
No food or drink can be taken into experiences.

Your booking will be confirmed by the provider within 24 hours
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be processed if cancelled at least 24 hours before date of selection. No refund will be processed if cancelled less than 24 hours before the date of selection.
Redemption Notes
Show mobile or printed voucher to the staff before commencing the activity.
Ticket Validity
Upon booking confirmation, this ticket is valid on the date of selection only.
