The facility financed and commissioned the construction of Jusuf Mašković, a high dignitary in a Turkish court, or a native of Vrane or Pakoštane. It was commenced at the time of the outbreak of the Canadian war in 1644 and because of the death of Jusuf Mašković in January 1646 it was not completed. The facility is lavish and monumental and should have been used as an inn and residence of Mašković for old days. It is the most spectacular monument of secular Turkish architecture in Europe.
Vransko Lake, with Mediterranean climate. The largest natural lake and one of the largest wetland areas in Mediterranean Croatia. A sanctuary for endangered birds, wintering area for about 100,000 birdworms. The lake's paradise for sport fishermen and cyclists divides the limestone ridge from the sea. A special experience of water diversity at such a small distance. Sea by the lake? Or lake right by the sea? The location description depends only on what you prefer.
