The redemption ticket came in via WhatsApp too so the redemption was smooth. The redemption booth is right in front of the airport mrt station.
great and easy to use, first timers remember to collect a physical token behind the gantry to redeem using the QR code
Everything was a breeze - from purchasing the tickets online to collecting the token at the counter (right at the entrance of the MRT). This saved me from having to get local currency upon arrival and from queueing to buy tickets. The rates are also discounted compared to getting the tickets on site.
Booked round trip for 4 pax and gotten 8 x QR-code for collection. Collection was easy and collected 8 x Token "Coins" in less than 10 minutes. Easy to use too: Just scan the Token "Coin" to enter the MRT gantry and deposit the Token "Coin" to exit the MRT gantry. MRT arrived on-time at both Taoyuan Airport station and Taipei station.
