You will then head to the well-equipped Awamaki kitchen and prepare a traditional drink, appetizer, and main course to enjoy together at their table.
Itinerary

Learn traditional dishes of Peru with your cooking teachers and community partners, Jenny and Ruth. After meeting your guide and cooking teacher, head to the market to pick out the ingredients for your dinner. Then, head to the Awamaki office to make dinner. You will learn to prepare Rocoto Relleno (stuffed spicy pepper) or Papa a la Huancaina (traditional potatoes with cheese-pepper sauce), along with an appetizer and traditional refreshment, like Limonada or Chicha Morada, a lightly sweet purple corn drink.
