1 hours 30 minsAdmission Ticket IncludedThe Great Wall at Mutianyu is located around 75 kilometres outside Beijing in Huairou County. This section of the wall is slightly less crowded than its popular brother at Badaling and has a more rugged feeling compared to other parts. We’re scheduled to leave Beijing at around 8.30 am for a drive through the countryside as we head out to the starting point of ascending the Great Wall of China ourselves. It connects Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Great Wall in the east. This section of the wall began during the Northern Qi Dynasty then built and rebuilt up until the 17th century. It was constructed wide enough to allow a brace of five horses to gallop between the battlements and was thus used to convey soldiers, arms, and food with great speed to various parts of the northern frontier. Due to its location among fertile plains, over 90% of the surrounding areas on both sides of the wall are covered with greens, more than any other part of the wall which gives it another added value compared to other parts, for example, Badaling and Jinshanling.Olympic Park

A selection of Chinese dishes, suitable for the western palette, will be freshly prepared. En route to your hotel, we will make a quick stop at the 2008 Olympic Grounds the unique Bird’s Nest and Water Cube remain some of the most striking Olympic designs. We expect to be back to the city at around 3.30 am depending on traffic.

There will be ample time for customers to spend time on their own to admire the sites at their own pace or browse along the shops for souvenirs. When additional time needs to be allocated for more time at leisure or shopping, this can be discussed with the guide on spot.
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
