From
In the beginning we go to see the very well preserved medieval Jewish quarter in Kazimierz, with its most interesting, ancient streets: Meisselsa, Józefa and Szeroka. Having this background we go over the Wisła (Vistula) River to find out the history of the Closed Jewish District (ghetto) in Podgórze. We also see the remaining parts of the ghetto wall in a very striking "matsevah-like" shape. Then we visit the historical museum in the former Schindler's Factory in Zabłocie. The new (opened in 2010), interactive exhibition shows how Kraków looked like days before WWII started and how WWII affected its people. Finally we visit the area of the concentration and labour camp in Płaszów, the monument and a villa where infamous commandant SS-Hauptsturmführer Amon Goeth (Ralph Fiennes in the movie) used to live.
