Definitely worth it, level of authenticity can be measured by the number of naked patrons you will see I suppose
For the cost and location, I would not recommend this place as the onsens are at best equivalent to what a larger hotel could offer. Comparing this to Spa World, of which the onsens and spa options there are a lot more varied and unique (plus a lot cheaper and located in a better location), Solaniwa is a lot more boring and overrated. I'd skip this anyday and visit Spa World instead, saving myself about 700 yen each time.
