Surrounded by volcanoes, mountains and mountain ranges, this lagoon fills us with an indescribable peace as soon as we begin our journey towards its waters rich in plankton and crustaceans. Unlike other lagoons, we cannot swim here, but that is not an impediment for not enjoying the ride. At 4,500 meters above sea level, we soon will discover that Laguna Chaxar is an unmissable sight for bird lovers.
