Itinerary
Day 1 - Start of Tour (6:20 AM)
Depart from Hanoi on a sleeper bus to Sapa via Lao Cai.Sapa
See the colourful costumes of the Hmong, Dzao and Tay people.Option 1 - Trek to Cat Cat Village
Journey through Sapa's magnificent natural landscapes to the home of the Black Hmong ethnic people. This village is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Your guide will show you the daily activities of the locals. Trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station. Trek uphill back to Sapa, passing by very beautiful scenery in the late afternoon.Option 2 - Trek to Ma Tra of Black Hmong and Ta Phin of Red Zdao
Drive to Ma Tra village and trek to see beautiful views of terraced rice fields and mountains. Visit a Hmong family to witness their daily life. Head to Ta Phin to visit the Dao people in a local market. This is the less touristy option and it is great to see things here.Sapa Town
Head back to Sapa Town for dinner and stay overnight at a hotel with fun night activities.Day 2 - Fansipan Peak Visit (8 AM)
Head to Fansipan cable car station and buy your tickets. Explore Fansipan Peak on a self-guided tour. Your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Sapa.Lunch (12 PM)
Check out of your hotel and have lunch. Get ready to get on the bus.Return Transfer (1:30 PM)
The bus departs for Hanoi. On the way, you'll have short breaks for dinner along the way.End of Tour (2:45 PM)
Arrive in Hanoi and head back to your hotel by yourself.
