    Bonwire Kente weaving village is a village located in Juaben, Kumasi. This is where the popular Ghanaian local cloth “kente” originated from. It is also one of the leading kente weaving locations in Ghana. Kente is a local cloth made up of different patterns, colours and designs which is worn on special occasions like festivals, weddings, naming ceremonies as well as enstoolment of Kings, Queens and Chiefs.

    Ntonsu Craft Village Followed by the village of Ntonso where artisan’s hand-stamp patterns on a cotton cloth to make Adinkra textiles. You can make your Adinkra sash to take home.
