Southeast Botanical Gardens is located in a vast area of 150,000 square meters in Okinawa. There are plenty of spots to enjoy on the premises where you can appreciate about 1,300 kinds of plants! A botanical garden surrounded by deep green where you can come contact with Japan's No. 1 Yusura palm-lined street, herb garden and animals. Plants that can only be seen here, such as the baobab tree that boasts of paradise, the lotus spreading all over and the world's longest-life tree Ryuketsuju.
We LOVED visiting here. Everything wasn’t expensive, even the restaurant is super yummy. You get to hang out with all kinds of animals, and feed them for ¥200 yen. It was so pretty and all of the employees were extremely nice and helpful even with the language barrier.
