- Usage: The Swiss Half Fare Card can't be used independently. Travellers must use the Swiss Half Fare Card to purchase the corresponding ticket in order to enjoy discounts.
- Buying Tickets: Show your passport or proof of residence plus your Half Fare Card at local stations for 50% off.
- Seating: First-come, first-served on all transport.

- Children aged 6 to 15 who are accompanied by at least one parent holding a valid Swiss Half Fare Card and corresponding ticket may travel free of charge with the complimentary Swiss Family Card.
