One of our stops on the way to Margaret River will be in the idyllic beachside
town of Busselton. Our destination is the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest
wooden jetty in the southern hemisphere, stretching out into the calm waters
of Geographe Bay. We will catch the cute, red jetty train out to the end,
enjoying 360-degree views of the Indian Ocean and the white, sandy beach on
either side. At the end of the jetty, we will descend into the Underwater
Observatory - one of only six in the world - where you can look out on the
best artificial reef in Australia. The jetty piles are covered with colourful
tropical corals and sponges and are home to more than three hundred different
marine species.

the wineries we will stop at on day two of our tour is McHenry Hohnen, a place
that focuses on sustainability, and creating ‘wines of purity and place.’ They
use biodynamic farming and minimal intervention winemaking methods to create
the most high-quality wines, while respecting the surrounding environment and
prioritising natural processes. On our visit, we will enjoy tastings of their
lovely single-vineyard wines, paired with a selection of free-range smoked and
cured meats.

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse:

On day three of our Margaret River tour from Perth, we will head down to
Augusta to see Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.

This historic building is the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia and is
situated on the most south-westerly tip of the country. From this viewpoint,
you can actually see where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. We will take a
trip through maritime history with a walk around the historic village at the
foot of the lighthouse, and finish with a guided tour of the lighthouse - the

Vasse Felix is our lunch stop, a delicious three course lunch and two generous
glasses of wine paired with the meal at one of WA’s Top 50 Restaurants.
Lastly, we will explore the vault and art gallery.
