This relaxing half-day cruise is your chance to sit back and take in the natural beauty of the region. Aboard the Murray River Lunch Cruise, you'll start the morning cruising through the beautiful Mandurah city centre past wetlands abounding with birdlife.
Witness the famous bottlenose dolphins as they surf and play in the wake of the boat. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board, served upon entering the serene, winding Murray River.
On entering the serene, winding Murray River, you’ll stop off at the Coopers Mill heritage island site (pending weather & jetty access), for a guided walking tour. Here you’ll learn about the history of the mill and diverse flora on the island, you might even spot some of the local kangaroos.
Back on board, a delicious buffet lunch will be served (menu below), with drinks available for purchase from the bar. Sit back, relax and take in the stunning scenery, passing quaint homes and more wildlife as we cruise as far as the Murray River Bridge (Forrest Highway)
Afternoon tea will follow as you exit the river and cross the Peel Inlet, returning to Mandurah.
The Murray River is the longest permanent river in the Jarrah Forest and one of the few major rivers that remains undammed. Popular with canoeists, kayakers, fishermen and nature-lovers, it is one of the Shire of Murray’s most picturesque attractions.

Had a wonderful time & the crew were great & very informative. Learnt alot of things I didn't know. Food was delicious & plenty to go around. I would recommend this cruise to anyone, really worth it.
I booked this tour as a gift for my parents and I also joined them on the day. It was overall a great experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it as a casual and relaxing family activity for all ages. I will note that the lunch is more of a 'picnic on a boat' rather than a 'lunch cruise', so I would not recommend to someone who is expecting a fancy meal. The scenery was also not as wild and remote as the photos represent - most of the scenery was quite built-up with houses along the river banks. For those who are not local - Mandurah (where the cruise starts and ends) is about an hour drive from Perth city, so it may be hard to get to if you're staying in the city and don't have access to a car.
