・Each adult or JR Hokuriku Area Pass holder may bring 2 children aged 1 - 5 for free, the third (and so on) child will require a child pass, please consider before booking

・Children who requires a reserved seat in an ordinary car and independent children are required to purchase a child pass
・JR tickets operate under a registration system, with a very complicated booking process. Therefore, please make sure to provide the correct required info when booking, failure to do so may result in ticket issue delay, travelers will be held liable and surcharges will apply to booking changes

Works well. Saves a ton of money if you are using the Hokuriku Shinkansen regularly. 1 drawback is that the voucher can only be exchanged for a rail pass at specific train stations.
