This is one of the most unique experiences in Iceland. Ice Caves are typically only enjoyed in the summer months but for the adventurous, they can be explored year round with this summer ice cave. During this tour you will be lead by your guide who doubles as your own professional photographer, deep into the glacier. It is here that you will lean Ice climbing and how to use your crampons and ice axes. We will travel through exciting terrain and have many opportunities to put your ice climbing skills to the test. Throughout the hike, you will also learn about the history of Vatnajokull Glacier and how the ice forms and has moved throughout the centuries. After the tour ends, your guide will professionally edit your photos and email them to you within the week. These photos will be the perfect souvenir and memory of your adventure in Iceland! Be aware we will not know what specific ice cave will be available until a few weeks/days leading up to your tour.
