In the 50+ years that Korea has been divided, the North and South have become two distinct entities. A trip to the DMZ will let you realize just how close the two countries are. Only 2.5 kilometers divide them, but the rift of history and ideology is immeasurable.
This ticket will bring you to the border, and show you a number of key sights including Dorasan Observatory, the Third Tunnel, the Dorasan Station and Imjingak (Peace Nuri Park).
I love Seoul Tour
The DMZ tour was informative and interesting. The guide (Jung) was also very helpful and supportive.
Well organized and informative. Ms Jung was also very entertaining.
Good XP visiting the world's only DMZ attraction. For those who have difficulty walking down steep slope, be warned that there are some gradients to conquer if you are going down the third tunnel. At the end of the 300m walk, where the tall will have to stoop low to get through the low ceiling (I call it the Walk of Knocks), you will be greeted with a rather anti-climax day counter before u-turning the same way up.
