Our time yesterday was an unmissable experience - our lovely driver, Supredi, was very hardworking, engaging and talkative throughout our transport to and from the mountain. After our arrival we moved to the Jeep driven by Dedik, who was equally as wonderful and committed to taking the best photos of us at sunrise as possible. We said to Supredi that we had to be back by 10am and he made certain we wouldn’t miss a thing (including the coffee plantation) even after we said we wouldn’t have time. We went regardless thanks to his encouragement and dedication, had an incredible time, bought some of the tea and coffee, and made it back by 10!! I came back raving about the coffee tasting and sunrise (just make sure you have good weather for the best sunrise)
Activity to Mt batur by Jeep, Black lava tour was educating and scenic. We were first picked up from hotel by Mr Rapa, our driver who was very punctual and friendly. He is well-spoken and knowledgeable, about the tours and Bali in general. He is attentive to our comfort, consistently checking on aircon if its too cold or hot, allowing us to sleep and rest through the journey. Highly recommend Mr Rapa as his hospitality and friendliness makes him a perfect guide for our holiday. I also was extremely pleased and impressed with our Jeep driver to Mt Batur and Black lava tour, Mr Grie. He is extremely skilled in driving the jeep and navigating through rocky terrain. His driving skill alone is a spectacle itself and an activity I would be willing to go. Mr Grie is also an excellent photographer and go above and beyond just to ensure to capture the perfect photo. He guided us in posing which is good if you are awkward in taking photos, He was also very knowledgeable about the Black Lava tour and he shared with us the history of the site. His driving skills and photography skills was enough to make the trip worth, which made our sunrise tour even more memorable. Thank you to Mr Rapa & Mr Grie for making our holiday enjoyable and would highly recommend them for future tours.
