    In the morning, at 9 am the tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and start the city sightseeing trip. Ulaanbaatar is a city of contrast where modern life comfortably blends with Mongolian traditional lifestyle Our first visit is the Gandan Monastery – the biggest Buddhist center of Mongolia and features a 26-meter-high majestic gilded statue of Migjid Janraisig Next visit, National Museum of Mongolia – this museum presents Mongolian history and culture from prehistoric times to the present day. Continue to visit Sukhbaatar square and Parliament House displayed with Great Khans memorial statue. The square lies at the heart of the city surrounded by theaters, government buildings. After lunch, we will explore the Zaisan Hill, which is a memorial for WW2, located in the south side of UB with a great view over the city Following to visit Bogd Khan Palace Museum – this complex was a residence of the last king of Mongolia in the 19th century, now turned into a museum. The architecture and exterior are not very impressive. Afterward, we will go to see “Wonders of Mongolia” folklore show by famous Tumen-Ekh ensemble – is one of the most successful folk-art groups to share traditional Mongolian music with the world, having traveled to over 40 countries. End of the performance, transfer to the hotel.

Tsagaan Suvarga
  • Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa)

    Tsagaan Suvarga is an arduous scarp in Olziit soum of Dundgovi province. Once a floor of the ocean, this scarp looks like a white stupa, hence the name Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa). This scarp is 400 meters long and 60 meters tall with a 90-degree brink. After a rain, the water pouring down the scarp makes it look like a huge waterfall. There’s an interesting cave 7 km to the east of Tsagaan Suvarga named Hevtee Bosoo Agui. In this 50 meters long cave, you have to crawl at some point but will be able to walk normally in other parts of the cave, hence the name Hevtee Bosoo Agui (Laying Standing Cave).

We recommend that if you visit a nomad family that you give sweets to the children. The children in the countryside love sweets because most of the next store is very far away and the section is not big.

    A must-see place for those who want to walk the trails of the Mongolian Empire’s glory and fall, is The area of Naiman Nuur, ”Eight lakes”, formed behind the volcanic eruptions that occurred all along the centuries. The park is 2400 meters above the sea level. An area of 11.500 hectares has been protected as a National Park since 1992. These lakes are connected by underground channels. We will rest for 1 day to explore this beautiful National Park.

    Karakoram was once the capital of the Mongolia Empire, which was the largest contiguous empire in World history, consisted of much of Asia and parts of Eastern Europe. In 1220, Karakorum was founded by Genghis Khan in the Orkhon valley, at the crossroads of the Silk Road. The city flourished with wealth and culture, especially as artists and intellectuals were brought over from Europe to enhance the Eurasian capital. Also, we will visit the magnificent and the oldest Buddhist Monastery complex of Erdene Zuu, built in the 16th century, with 108 stupas. The monastery is still active, and there are temple museums and buildings where monks live and pray.

    This area is home to the Mongolian wild horse known as Perzevalski horse (takhi) with a unique landscape that features mountain and steppe. In the early evening, we will take short drive and hiking to see the horses in their natural habitat.
