18 km from the center of Gamarvan. The people of this village, built in the north-west on the left bank of the Bum River (a tributary of the Turyan River), on the slope of the Main Caucasian Range, are friendly, smiling and hospitable, just like the nature of the village.[2] The history of this village begins in the middle of the 19th century. The Lezgi living in Dagestan had grasslands in this zone, and a certain part of them became sedentary and created this village. The difference from other parts of the region is that this village is nomadic even today. Where there is an increase in sheep farming, there is also a lot of wealth. Villagers also receive income from local tourists. Due to its wonderful appearance, the village receives visitors in all seasons of the year. City dwellers like this land, which has winter as well as summer, so they rent rural houses. The road of the village is at a high level.[2] There is healing natural hot water here.

It is located 3 km east of the city of Gabala, 1 km north of the village of Nohurqishlaq, in a natural hollow between the Gulluburun, Goydag and Yumuru mountains, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level.[1] Lake Nohur, which existed as a natural lake until 1949, was surrounded by a swamp covered with thick reeds and aquatic plants, and in the deep hole in the center was a lake with yellow-green water. In 1949, an earthen dam 850 m long, 8-10 m high, and 4-6 m wide was built in the southern part of this lake between Güllü burun mountain and Yumuru mountain. Currently, the length of the reservoir is 1925 meters, the width is 1355 meters, the area is 240 hectares. Its maximum depth reaches 24 m, and its water volume reaches 16 million m³.
