'Symbols are powerful because they are the visible signs of invisible realities.' -Saint Augustine. In this workshop, we will focus on two Korean symbols as follows: 1. Korean Alphabet, Hangeul 2. Korean Buddhist symbols aka. mandala (also found on the ceilings of traditional palaces) Steps: 1. Choose a mandala and learn about its meaning 2. Paint it with selected colors(same as used on the building) and let it dry. 3. Learn about the Hangeul alphabet and how to write your name. 4. Select the Hangeul beads and coordinate them with other colorful beads of your choice. 5. Connect the colored mandala and beads strap. 6. Hang it on a bag, a phone, or any other creative way you can think of! *Please note, we will provide you with a jute bag during the warm season*
