− About the limited time event "Jellyfish, Umbrellas and Wind Chimes" −
"Jellyfish, Umbrellas and Wind Chimes" is a summer-only event at Kyoto
Aquarium, marking its fourth year since 2021. During the event, approximately
170 "jellyfish wind chimes" with motifs of 24 types of jellyfish, including
"moon jellyfish" and "octopus jellyfish," will be exhibited, and a new
exhibition space for "Kyoto jellyfish umbrellas" will appear on the second
floor terrace.
The workshop will be an experience experience at the existing workshop of
Hiyoshiya, a long-established Kyoto umbrella maker that produced the
