I had purchased the Theme park ticket + express pass. Worked smoothly inside the park. I really appreciate the Singapore airlines discount.
Great experience. Much more compact than the Universal parks in Florida but lighter crowds especially at rope drop. We paid for Express pass which was well worth it later in the day when the wait times increased.

The express pass is great. However if you are happy to use the single rider option then you can save some money.
Universal studios was so fun especially if you have the express pass since you will get the good seats!
10/10 would recommend getting the express pass, was able to ride all the rides with enough time to go for a second! :) You can get your express pass at the guest services outside the park then proceed lining up at the gate. We were also allowed to line-up on a separate and shorter line upon entry to the park. Saved us a lot of time!
