Our company was founded on the principles of responsible tourism, sustainability, individual attention to our guests, and education about the species that we encounter. There are several species of whales and dolphins that can be seen year round in the ocean off the coast of San Diego. A mix of resident and migratory species makes for a good variety of life that can be found any time of year. Gray whales in the winter, Humpback whales in the spring and fall, Blue whales in the summer, and Common dolphins all year are just a few of the species encountered on our tours. We use a small boat that offers a lower profile for viewing marine life up close and allows greater range to explore and encounter cetaceans on our tours. With a maximum of 6 guests on the boat, we're able to offer personalized attention. Our connections with marine scientists and conservationists helps us contribute to the whale and dolphin community at large, and we would love to tell you more about those connections!

2 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeDeparting from beautiful Mission Bay in San Diego, we will head out to the open ocean in search of whales, dolphins, and other marine life. From the near coastal Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, guests will see be able to see the California coast from a different perspective while we search for cetaceans. With several species of migratory and resident cetaceans every trip is different, and we never know what we'll see! Winter Gray whales, spring and fall Humpback whales, and summertime Blue whales blend with more residential Fin whales and Minke whales make for a myriad of possibilities. Resident Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, and Risso's dolphins are often found feeding or frolicking off the coast. After approximately 2.5 hours, guest will be returned to Mission Bay situated between the iconic neighborhood of Mission Beach and Ocean Beach.
