From 1799 to 1855, Sainte-Antoine Cemetery was home to approximately 70,000 burials, many of which were buried in mass graves due to a series of cholera epidemics that struck the city.
Today, the old cemetery is hidden beneath two of Montreal’s most beautiful and popular urban parks, Dorchester Park and Place du Canada, a favorite spot for paranormal activity in downtown Montreal.
