Seven traditional art experiences (conducted in Japanese)


【Kyobu】Kyobu originated in Kyoto. It is an elegant and gorgeous dance
performed by maiko and geisha (people in Kyoto call geisha) wearing beautiful
costumes.

[Tea Ceremony] A technique that involves boiling water, making tea, and
serving tea. It demonstrates a standing etiquette (performed while sitting on
a chair) that is easy for foreigners to accept.

[Ikebana] An art that combines flowers with various materials and appreciates
them at the same time.

【Qin】A musical instrument passed down from Japan since ancient times. It has 6
strings. You can play beautiful harmonies by wearing ivory on your fingers and
plucking the strings.

[Gagaku] A kind of ancient Japanese music and dance spread in palaces,
shrines, and temples. Visitors can enjoy the dance music and dance at the same
time.

[Kyogen] A comedy that expresses the real society of the past in a humorous
way.

[Bunraku] is a traditional Japanese puppet show. It was designated as a World
Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2003.
