    This morning, our Egyptology tour guide will pick you up from your Aswan hotel, airport or train station to visit the highlights of Aswan.
  • Aswan High Dam

    Start your day with the High Dam to see a modern achievement of the Egyptians which took them 10 year to be built, from 1960 to 1970, see the second largest artificial lake in the world, lake Naser and cross over the friendship emblem.
  • Temple of Philae

    Continue to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Take a short motorboat ride to the island where your guide will take you on a walking tour through the temple before allowing you free time to explore further on your own. Philae Temple was carefully moved to its current location (around 500 meters from the original site) when the construction of the High Dam caused surrounding Nile waters to rise. It has a beautiful setting on an island in the river which has been landscaped to match its original site. It's various shrines and sanctuaries celebrate the deities involved in the myth of Isis and Osiris.

    Then transfer to your hotel in Aswan for overnight. Free afternoon at your leisure (optional tour to the Nubian Village with extra cost).
Abu Simbel Temples Trip (Sharing a group in a bus or minibus)

    Around 4:30 am ( available to change), your tour guide will pick you up for the amazing trip to Abu Simbel temples (Sharing a small group) about 285KM, south of Aswan. Drive in nature through the Egyptian desert for about 3 hours, enjoy the views of the sunrise behind the mountains to Abu Simbel. Arrive at Abu Simbel Temples, and enjoy those two unique rock-cut temples for about 2 hours. When Lake Nasser was flooded, the final water level was going to submerge several temples, the most important of which being Abu Simbel. The temple was therefore dismantled completely and rebuilt further up the hillside where it sits today. Drive back in comfort to Aswan.

    Then, you will be transferred to Aswan train station to take the first class sitting train to Luxor, that takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once in Luxor, you will meet our tour guide who will be holding a sign with your name and waiting for you in front of your train wagon to transfer to your Luxor hotel for overnight.

    Stop for 10 minutes to take nice photos in front of the two-17 meters statues of King Amonhotep III from The 18th Dynasty, Colossi of Memnon, which mark the site of the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. These two giant statues standing tall and proud on the West Bank are all that remain of the ancient complex.
  • Temple of Karnak

    Stop for lunch (optional). Then, proceed to visit Karnak temple, the biggest temple in The whole world. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex as your guide explains how the massive facade was constructed. he deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3,000 years. Walking through the Great Court into the Great Hypostyle Hall, it's hard not to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns towering above you like an ancient forest. At the rear of the complex you will find the sacred lake where centuries ago pharaohs and their offerings to the gods were purified. After a tour of the complex, you will have additional free time to explore at leisure.
  • Luxor Temple
