of the following documents in full:


  • National driver's license + Japanese translation + passport (applicable to holders of driver's licenses issued by Taiwan, Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium, Monaco, and Estonia)

    - Holding a valid driver's license and a Japanese translation allows you to
    drive in Japan within one year from the day of entering Japan

    - Officially translated documents can be obtained from the Consulate General
    of Japan or the Embassy of Japan

    - Those who hold a Taiwan driver's license can apply for a Japanese
    translation at each highway supervision unit in Taiwan


  • International driver's license + passport (applicable to holders of international driver's licenses issued in accordance with the format of the Geneva Convention by recognized institutions in countries that have joined the Geneva Convention)

    - The validity period of the international driver's license is one year from
