We had a fantastic experience. The tour package included a convenient hotel pick-up at 8:15am (we were the first to get picked up), and arrived at a rest stop after a smooth one-hour drive. We checked out the nearby salt farm while waiting for the train to arrive. One of the highlights was taking the train into the Maeklong Railway Market, which wasn't listed in the program. This was my favourite part of the tour, offering a much more immersive experience than simply watching the train pass through the market. After the train passed, we exited the market. The final stop was a boat ride at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where four people shared a boat. We had the option to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs directly from the vendors on the water. After the boat ride, we had 50 minutes of free time to explore the market/ have lunch before returning to Bangkok.

We had guide Sara. She was warm and tried to remember our names. She speaks well (good English too) and explained some history of Thailand while we were on the trip. The trip itself was excellent. Both activities were quite an experience for us.
