  • Sefa Utaki, a World Cultural Heritage Site

Said to have been created by Amamikiyo, the goddess who created the Ryukyu
Islands, Sefa Utaki is the most sacred site in the Ryukyu Kingdom and is
believed to be one of the seven utaki (sacred sites) where the country
originated. The inauguration ceremony of Kikoe-ogimi, the supreme goddess of
Ryukyu, was held at Sefa Utaki. It is in the mountains, so you can also

Valley of Gangala is a subtropical forest rich in nature that was created by

a high possibility that the Minatogawa Man lived here approximately 18,000
years ago and excavations in the area are still being conducted today. You can
experience the area while ruminating about "nature" and "life". The valley is
about 14,500 tsubo (47,933 square meters) wide, with a walking distance of
