Standing 1,400 metres above sea level in the Ba Na Hills outside Da Nang, the awe-inspiring Golden Hand Bridge spans 150 metres and is held up by giant moss-covered hands. The footbridge is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums and curves out over the valley below in an elegant crescent shape. It is the sculpted hands holding the bridge that give this location a real ‘wow’ factor. This spectacular location offers breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape, and is a popular destination for sightseeing and photo stops. Once colonized by the French, the area boasts an intriguing mixture of European and Vietnamese heritage, creating an interesting juxtaposition of French architecture with the distinctively Vietnamese mountains and farmland.
