From here, you will enjoy panoramic views to commercial malls, the old cinema, as well as the beautiful Cathedral. The Cathedral of Chiclayo, or Santa Maria Cathedral, began construction in 1869 and ended in 1939 due to lack of funds. The Cathedral’s design is by Gustave Eiffel and it has a neoclassical style. The city of Chiclayo has been founded in 1720 by Spanish but as a place to rest for the merchants during the colonial period. Then, we are going to reach the Municipal Palace.
